MBA Logistics ( Incorporating PG certification and PG Diploma)

The MBA (Logistics) is a postgraduate, post-experience course designed in consultation keeping mind the increasing demands from individuals, organisations and regulatory bodies for planned, relevant and essentially practical management development specific to the Logistics sector.

     It builds upon one's knowledge and experience within the logistics, purchasing and supply chain management to develop one's management skills and  explore issues in the context of business and organisation management.  Using a detailed review of operational management he/she can also take a strategic perspective, including international scenarios.On completion of the MBA an individual will have a much greater awareness of both the theory and practice of logistics management and how these are integrated in the workplace.

MBA (CIMA Top-up route) for Chartered Accountants

Course offered by University of Derby, UK. Intake in January/September.

    By taking this top up route, you'll complete the MBA course in 6 months on a part time basis, instead of the 12 months it usually takes full time. So you will save both time and money. It will take you one month to complete each taught module of Leading Strategic Change and Global Strategic Marketing.  Some modules will be supported online. The final Research Methods and Independent Study module will take you four months to complete. It's a significant part of the Master's course and is a major piece of independently researched work.

    The MBA encourages a deep understanding of the challenges of strategy and its implementation. It builds on your experience and what you've learnt from your CIMA qualifications and you'll develop an integrated and critically aware knowledge and understanding of management and organisations. You'll look at the integrative nature of management and the implications of background forces on organisations. You'll also examine the importance of effective marketing and operations management, the development and operation of markets for goods, services and resources, customer types and their expectations, and the implications of contemporary changes for strategy and the management of organisations. You'll learn how to make informed judgements using critical thinking, organising thoughts, analysis, synthesis and critical appraisal, and you'll develop problem solving and decision making skills. 

   You'll develop your presentation, interpersonal and leadership skills, and be able to analyse and assess appropriate people management and development policies.  You'll also learn about using individuals' contributions in teams, delegation, team development and management.

MBA –Global Executive

Course offered by University of Toronto,Canada.  Intake in January/September.

The Omnium Global Executive MBA is a general management MBA addressing core business disciplines from a global perspective. It involves four 3-week international residencies, online learning and a number of intensive virtual team projects. Omnium participants not only study at local universities but visit local businesses, meet local managers and run projects, cases and simulations addressing real challenges facing local companies. Students also learn from their peers who are international managers from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Omnium is designed to be completed part-time while participants continue their work as managers. There are no geographical limits to participation. Students can live anywhere in the world and can move bases without hindrance. The 14-month-long Omnium program leads to separate MBA degrees from two exceptional, internationally recognized universities.

Integrated MBA-Jeffrey Skoll BASc/MBA program

The Jeffrey Skoll BASc/MBA Program brings together in a synergistic integrative manner, studies in Engineering and Management. The Program has been created to provide a fast track to a productive career as a technological entrepreneur, as a manager or executive in a technology-based business, or, indeed, as a technology-aware manager in any modern business. In order to secure Canada's competitive position, businesses are looking for a new generation of leaders - ones who combine an engineering background, excellent management training, and experience working in industry. The Skoll Program will produce graduates with top-flight management skills, total comfort with new and emerging technology, and the interpersonal and team skills needed to succeed.

With the establishment of the Skoll Program, the University of Toronto is addressing these challenges and dramatically decreasing the time required for students to gain these skills. The Skoll Program enables students to complete a BASc, a professional experience year (PEY), a management internship (MEY), and an MBA, all in a period of six years and eight months.
