Griffith University is proving to be a popular choice among international students. The number of applications has been growing steadily over the past several years and as a result enrolled GU international student have now risen substantially to well over 7,000.

As a result of this increase in numbers the GU management has recognised that the student community needs more support and assistance. The GU Admissions area has developed an innovative admissions processing system that promises to enhance efficiency by reducing turnaround times by including better processes and communication measures. This should result in substantially better client management relationship and a highly efficient system of processing, overall.

The First offshore centre has opened in Dubai. Ms Shyamala Elango of Inner Universe will run this centre with staff trained in GU processing protocols. The IU team will be looking after processing of all applications for all programs offered by Griffith University. The centre in Dubai will be responsible for all admission related processes for all applications from the Middle East region.
