Scholarships for nationals to study law
in UAE college

A strategic alliance has been formed between St Joseph University , Beirut and Dubai College of Law under the Edaad scholarship programme to help 40 UAE students to study law

This is the first-of-its-kind project in the UAE that allows students to study law within a prestigious foreign university without leaving the country. We are grateful to Shaikh Mohammed for his vision of bringing world class academic institutions to Dubai and allowing UAE students to obtain international prestigious degrees at home," said Adel Al Shared, Director of Edaad.

The programme, which will utilise Arabic as the primary medium of instruction, has been designed to prepare national students to be outstanding future lawyers and judges through practical training. To complement the exceptional academic courses offered by St Joseph University , Edaad has also arranged extensive on-the-job training for the students within government agencies and private law firms during the summer.

UAE nationals, including fresh high school graduates, can apply for the EDAAD scholarships. Holders of diplomas or employees looking to better their career prospects may also apply for the programme
